Associated Corrosion Engineering (Contracting) (Pty) Ltd is a specialist organisation in the fields of Cathodic Protection and Induced AC Mitigation. Our history dates to the mid-1960s and we are currently the largest private organisation in the field in Southern Africa employing over 100 people on projects in South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique. Our Directorial Staff include two ECSA registered professionals and a NACE certified Corrosion Specialist.

ACE is 26% Black-owned and Controlled and is an accredited BBBEE organisation. We comply with or exceed all applicable legislation.

We operate a comprehensive Safety Management Program and received NOSA accreditation (4 Stars) in our first 2006 assessment. We are confident that this will be improved on in the current assessment period in light of an extremely low incidence of reportable incidents.

ACE is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). Guidelines to the capacity of organisations in the construction industry are given in the CIDB regulations. ACE qualifies for a rating of 7SD (i.e. Grade 7 = projects between R10m - R30m in the category SD - Corrosion Protection (Cathodic, anodic and electrolytic.) This rating is compiled by the CIDB based on turnover figures (audited,) bank rating, capacity and previous experience.

We can lay claim to having been involved with most of the major pipeline contracts in Southern Africa over the past 40 years.

ACE provides a full turnkey service relating to all aspects of the Cathodic Protection systems and Induced AC Mitigation of pipelines and other underground structures. Areas of competence are:

Safety and the Environment

We operate a Health, Safety and Environmental management system in accordance with the OHS Act.

We pride ourselves on our safety record and are NOSA accredited contractors (Certificate No. 1210) with zero reported disabling injuries in our first two audit periods.
